Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may have just gotten engaged, but one Snohomish County hotspot is already vying to host their honeymoon.
Tulalip Casino had a little fun on Facebook this week, posting a tongue-in-cheek pitch that their AAA Four-Diamond resort might be the perfect love nest for pop music’s reigning queen and the NFL’s flashiest tight end.
“We can’t confirm the rumors that these two lovebirds are planning to spend their honeymoon at our award-winning AAA Four-Diamond resort, but we also can’t deny that it would make perfect sense,” the casino wrote in the since-deleted post.
It went on to tease its slots, table games, sportsbook, oasis pool, and T Spa that—in the casino’s words—sound like “the perfect love story.”
For Swifties, the phrase carried extra sparkle — a wink at her hit Love Story. And Kelce fans couldn’t help but note the casino’s end zone-level timing, dropping the post just days after the couple’s announcement sent social media into overdrive.
The engagement reveal came Tuesday, Aug. 26, when Swift shared a pair of Instagram photos that instantly racked up millions of likes. One showed Kelce down on one knee in a garden, the other captured the two nose-to-nose, smiling as Swift cupped his face.
She captioned it with the line: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
It was a quintessential Swift move — part poetic, part playful. And if you think about it, Tulalip might actually be onto something. After all, the resort is known for its “Enchanted” atmosphere, its ability to leave visitors “Fearless” at the tables, and a T Spa experience that has Swifties saying You Belong With Me to a massage chair.
If Kelce’s game plan is “All In,” Tulalip is ready to “Shake It Off” with championship-level hospitality.
