Three adults were found dead with apparent gunshot wounds inside an Olympia residence after neighbors reported an argument followed by gunfire.
Officers from the Olympia Police Department responded to a home in the 2300 block of 19th Court NW around 10:40 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, after receiving reports of arguing and the sound of gunshots, police said.
When officers arrived, they found three deceased individuals — one adult man and two adult women — all with apparent gunshot wounds, according to police.
Officers remained on scene Saturday as the investigation continued. Police said there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public based on information available at this time.
“This is a tragic loss of life, and we are holding the families, loved ones, and all those impacted by this incident in our hearts during this difficult time,” Olympia Police said in a statement.
“We recognize incidents like this deeply affect families, neighbors, and our entire community, and we appreciate the community’s compassion, patience, and ongoing support as investigators work through the facts.”
Residents are being asked to avoid the area while investigators continue their work to ensure a thorough investigation.
