ORIGINAL REPORT: A Tacoma mother is asking for help finding her 13-year-old daughter, who has been missing for several says.
Zariyah Jones-Moore was last seen Sunday, March 29, near First Creek Middle School on Tacoma’s eastside, her mother Erin Futch told Puget Press.
Futch said her daughter left home that day and has not returned.
Zariyah contacted her mother later Sunday night, but there has been no communication since, Futch said. She also told her sister she was no longer in Tacoma and planned to return the following day.
Police have been notified, and Zariyah has been reported as a runaway to the Tacoma Police Department, her mother said.
Anyone who sees Zariyah or has information about her whereabouts is urged to call 911.
