Pop royalty and gridiron glory are officially tying the knot: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged.
Swift revealed the news Tuesday, Aug. 26, with an Instagram post that sent fans into a frenzy.
One showed Kelce down on one knee in a lush garden, the other captured the couple nose to nose, smiling as Swift cupped Kelce’s face in her hands.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Swift captioned the post — a tongue-in-cheek nod to their wildly different worlds. The post racked up more than a million likes in just five minutes.
Swift, 35, is one of the best-selling musicians of all time, with 14 Grammy Awards and a global tour that has shattered box office records. Kelce, 35, is a star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, with three Super Bowl rings and a reputation as one of the NFL’s most charismatic players.
The two first sparked romance rumors in 2023, quickly becoming one of pop culture’s most-watched couples. Now, they’re headed for the altar.
