A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death on a Tacoma street.
Officers responded to the 2700 block of South Orchard Street at around noon Friday, Oct. 10, for reports of an unresponsive man, according to Tacoma Police. The scene is just steps from the Tacoma Lowe’s store.
When officers arrived, they found an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. Tacoma Fire Department personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Detectives and crime scene technicians responded and are investigating the case as a homicide.
Police have not released the victim’s identity or any suspect information.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to call 911.
