Man Found Dead In Poulsbo Area; Brother Arrested: Sheriff

A 30-year-old man was found dead inside a Poulsbo-area home late Sunday night, and his brother has been taken into custody in connection with the case.

Deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a residence around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, where they discovered the man deceased at the scene, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities identified the suspect as the victim’s 34-year-old brother, who was arrested and booked into the Kitsap County Jail.

Detectives have launched a homicide investigation and are continuing to gather details about what led up to the incident, according to the sheriff’s office.

The suspect was expected to make an initial court appearance on Monday, March 23.

Additional information was expected to be released as the investigation develops.
