Golf star Tiger Woods was arrested following a rollover crash in Florida on Friday afternoon, March 27.
Woods, 50, was taken into custody after speeding down a street in Jupiter, Florida, striking a pickup truck, and rolling his Range Rover around 2 p.m., according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
Woods had to climb out of the passenger window to escape the vehicle, according to deputies, who noted Woods appeared impaired at the time.
A breathalyzer test showed 0.00%, officials said. Investigators believe Woods was under the influence of medication and not alcohol, they added.
Woods was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He refused to undergo a urine test, according to sheriff’s officials.
Neither Woods nor the pickup driver were injured in the crash.
The incident comes several years after Woods was seriously injured in a separate rollover crash in California in 2021.
