An Everett frozen yogurt shop is asking for the public’s help identifying a group of teenagers accused of harassing employees and stealing food and drinks shortly before closing time.

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt said in a Facebook post Sunday that the incident happened Saturday night at its new Everett Marina location.

According to the business, several teenagers entered the store shortly before closing, verbally harassed employees, and stole frozen yogurt and bottled drinks.

The shop said a police report has been filed and the individuals involved will be trespassed from the business.

Menchie’s also shared security camera images online and announced a $100 reward for information leading to positive identification.

“We take the safety of our team very seriously,” the business wrote in its statement.

The store emphasized that many of its employees are teenagers themselves and deserve “a safe, respectful workplace.”

At the same time, the business said it is willing to give the teens and their families an opportunity to take responsibility before deciding how to proceed further.

“If the teens or their parents contact us directly and take accountability for what happened, we are willing to have a conversation before deciding how to move forward,” the statement said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the business directly through social media or by email.
