A Whatcom County drug bust turned cinematic when deputies reportedly found 22 pounds of cocaine during a traffic stop in Bellingham.

Deputies made contact with a vehicle in the 4000 block of Eliza Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 16, after deeming the vehicle “suspicious,” according to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office. Two people inside the car reportedly gave inconsistent information, prompting deputies to investigate further.

A drug-sniffing K-9 alerted to narcotics inside the vehicle, deputies said. Investigators then obtained a search warrant and uncovered approximately 10 kilograms—about 22 pounds—of cocaine, according to police.

Photos shared by the agency show the drugs packed in what appear to be mesh cases wrapped in plastic. Each container features a printout of the Marvel movie character Thor.

Deputies also found a loaded firearm and cash inside the vehicle, police said. No other details were released.
