A new seafood destination overlooking the Everett Marina is already drawing praise from diners, giving locals another reason to linger along the city’s revitalized waterfront.
The Net Shed Fish Market & Kitchen opened in December 2025 at 1500 Steiner Drive as part of the Port of Everett’s growing Waterfront Place development.
The restaurant blends a seafood market with a full kitchen, allowing visitors to either sit down for a meal or take home fresh seafood sourced from regional fisheries.
Perched beside the marina with views of docks, open water, and the Olympic Mountains, the restaurant aims to capture the spirit of Everett’s historic fishing community.
“Framed by the Olympic Mountains, docks, and open water, it’s the perfect place to slow down, gather with the Everett community, and unwind,” the restaurant wrote about the setting.

The name itself pays tribute to the original net sheds that once lined the Everett waterfront. Those simple buildings were gathering places where fishing families repaired nets, swapped stories, and stayed connected to life on the water.
Today, the modern version carries that tradition forward with a menu built around fresh seafood and casual waterfront dining.
From Tide To Table
Seafood takes center stage across the menu. Popular dishes include crisp ale-battered fish and chips made with wild-caught Alaskan cod, pan-seared scallops finished with brown butter and lemon, and a Maine lobster roll piled high with warm lobster.
The kitchen also serves seafood rice bowls topped with ahi tuna or salmon, smoked salmon melts, blackened fish tacos, and creamy soups like clam chowder and lobster bisque.
Other offerings range from ahi poke bowls and salmon niçoise to shrimp steamers and crab rolls.
For those who prefer to cook at home, the market counter displays fresh seafood including Dungeness crab and Penn Cove mussels.
Dessert keeps things playful, with options like a layered key lime pie jar topped with house-made whipped cream and graham cracker crumble, along with coconut chocolate macaroons and warm chocolate chip cookies made from scratch.

Early diners appear impressed. The restaurant holds a 4.3-star rating on Yelp, where reviewers have praised both the seafood quality and service.
“Delicious! Wonderful service as well. Fresh seafood to purchase definitely make the trip,” one reviewer wrote.
Another said the lobster roll and fish and chips stood out during a busy dinner service. “The lobster was decadent, melt in your mouth. The fish and chips were airy and light,” the reviewer wrote.
Part Of A Growing Waterfront
The Net Shed joins a growing lineup of restaurants along Everett’s waterfront, including Rustic Cork Wine Bar, Fisherman Jack’s, South Fork Baking Company, Menchie’s at the Marina, and Tapped Public House.
