Toddler Found Alone In Silverdale, Deputies Urgently Searching For Family

UPDATE: The boy’s family has been located and are on their way to reunite with him, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office announced around 11:45 a.m.

ORIGINAL REPORT: Authorities in Kitsap County are asking for immediate help identifying a toddler found alone in Silverdale Thursday morning, April 2.

The child, believed to be about 2 years old, was located around 10:40 a.m. on near the intersection of Ridgetop Boulevard and Tahoe Lane, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say the child was found without a parent or guardian, and his identity is not known at this time.

Officials have not released details about how long the child may have been alone or where he may have come from.

Anyone who recognizes the child or has information about his family is urged to call 911 immediately, the sheriff’s office said.
