A 24-year-old man is accused of breaking into an Everett home and stabbing multiple people, leaving two victims fighting for their lives.
Deputies responded around 9:03 a.m. to a reported burglary in the 1200 block of 112th Street SW – just across from BECU – where a known suspect forced entry into a residence after knocking and receiving no answer, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Once inside, the man attacked several people with a knife, deputies said.
Three victims were injured in the incident. Two were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in critical condition, authorities said. The condition of the third victim was not immediately released.
Residents at the home were able to detain the suspect until deputies arrived and took him into custody, officials said. His identity was not immediately released.
