Dad Of 2 Shot, Killed In Puyallup; Gunman Still At Large

A 37-year-old father was shot and killed early Sunday, April 12, in Puyallup, and deputies have not identified a suspect.

Deputies responded around 4:20 a.m. to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex near the 12200 block of Canyon Road East, where they found the man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and medics provided aid at the scene, but the man died from his injuries, deputies said.

No suspect information or description has been released, and investigators have not said what may have led to the shooting.

The victim’s identity has not been publicly released, and details about his life were not immediately available.

Family members told KIRO 7 the man was a father of two and was shot at least three times in the chest.
