Parents are being urged to check their baby gear after Graco announced a voluntary recall of select infant car seats due to a structural issue identified during testing.

The recall affects certain SnugRide Turn & Slide rotating infant car seats and related products sold between January and March 2026 through major retailers including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Babylist, and Graco’s website.

The issue was discovered during a post-production laboratory test, prompting the company to pull the affected models and offer free replacements to families.

Only a limited number of SnugRide Turn & Slide products are included in the recall. Graco said no other rotating car seats, including EasyTurn and Turn2Me models, are affected. Other SnugRide models are also not included.

Affected products include specific model numbers of the SnugRide Turn & Slide rotating infant car seat, as well as certain car seat bases and travel systems that include the seat. The stroller component of the travel system is not affected.

Families who own one of the impacted seats are advised to stop using the seat with its base immediately. The seat may still be used without the base, following manufacturer instructions, while awaiting a replacement.

“We know parents rely on Graco products every day, and we understand this may create frustration and disruption for families,” the company said in a statement. “We are working quickly to support affected families and will provide a replacement product at no cost.”

Graco is offering one of several replacement options at no cost after registration is completed. Customers are instructed not to return recalled products to stores.

onsumers can confirm whether their product is part of the recall by locating the model and serial number on the product label and entering the information on Graco’s website.
