Something new is drawing hungry crowds to downtown Sedro-Woolley. Seoul Buns, a fast-casual Korean barbecue and burger spot at 215 Moore St., has quietly built early buzz thanks to towering burgers, saucy loaded fries, and a menu that bounces comfortably between comfort food and Korean-inspired flavors.
And based on early customer reactions, people are already planning return trips.
“We’ve been waiting for Seoul Buns to open,” one Yelp reviewer wrote. “We finally made it in and were not disappointed.”
Burgers, Burritos, And A Lot Of Sauce
Seoul Buns leans hard into rich, indulgent food that feels designed for cravings.
The restaurant’s K-Hamburgers use 100% Angus beef patties served on brioche buns, with options ranging from a classic bacon cheeseburger to more adventurous combinations like the Hawaiian Burger, which stacks teriyaki sauce, grilled pineapple, bacon, cheese, and Korean barbecue flavors into one towering handheld situation.

Then there’s the Bulgogi Cheeseburger — one of the restaurant’s early standouts. Customers have also gravitated toward the loaded beef fries, a hefty pile of fries topped with bulgogi, shredded cheddar, sour cream, and house sauce drizzle.
The menu stretches well beyond burgers, too. Seoul Buns also serves Korean-inspired burritos stuffed with fillings like royal bulgogi, spicy pork, and chicken katsu alongside rice, cabbage mix, cilantro, and spicy mayo.
Meanwhile, wok-style K-plates bring sweet and spicy chicken, honey garlic chicken, and spicy soy garlic chicken to the table with rice for something a little heartier.
The Vibe Feels Casual — But Intentional
Inside, customers describe the restaurant as roomy, clean, and welcoming without trying too hard to be trendy. One Yelp reviewer praised both the decor and the service, saying the staff was “extremely friendly, professional, and prompt.”

That approachable energy seems to match the food itself. Seoul Buns isn’t chasing fine dining or stripped-down minimalism. It knows exactly what it is: bold flavors, generous portions, and comfort food with Korean barbecue influence woven throughout the menu.
Even the sides lean into that balance between familiar and playful, with crab rangoon, onion rings, gyoza, shrimp spring rolls, and milk teas sharing menu space with burgers and fries.
And yes, there are milkshakes and smoothies too. Because if you’re already ordering loaded bulgogi fries, you might as well commit to the experience.
Customers Are Already Hooked
So far, the restaurant holds a five-star rating on Yelp, with reviewers repeatedly highlighting portion sizes and flavor.

“Food was delicious,” another customer wrote. “Burgers pretty big for size. The loaded beef fries are tasty. The honey soy chicken was good as well.”
That combination — oversized comfort food, Korean flavors, and approachable pricing in a casual setting — appears to be resonating quickly in Skagit County. Especially in a smaller downtown where genuinely new restaurant concepts tend to stand out fast.
