A group of Idaho teenagers says a Memorial Day weekend camping trip in the Payette National Forest turned into a frightening series of encounters with what they believe were multiple Sasquatches.
The claims were submitted to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO), which later investigated the report and interviewed members of the group.
According to the witnesses, 10 friends from Parma, Idaho, traveled to a remote area near Lost Valley Road in Adams County for a camping trip from May 22 through May 25.
Strange Activity Begins Around Camp
The first reported encounter allegedly occurred Friday night when one member of the group claimed to see a tall, dark figure standing a few yards behind a tent.
The witness did not immediately tell the others about the sighting because she did not want to alarm the group, according to the report.
Over the next two days, several campers reported hearing unexplained noises in the surrounding forest.

One camper said she heard something moving alongside her in the trees while she searched for a friend who had briefly walked away from camp.
“It sounded like something was walking with me in the tree line and whistling at me in different directions to get me lost in the forest,” the witness wrote in the report submitted to BFRO.
Other campers reported hearing branches breaking, rhythmic knocking sounds, and what they initially believed were coyotes moving through the area.
Campers Report Seeing Multiple 9-Foot Creatures
The most dramatic encounter allegedly occurred Sunday when one member of the group said he encountered a creature while walking to a makeshift bathroom near camp.
According to the report, the witness described seeing a roughly 9-foot-tall figure walking on two legs with “blank reflective eyes.”
The witness alerted other members of the group, several of whom entered the woods to investigate.
According to the account, members of the group later reported seeing multiple large creatures moving through the trees.
The witnesses described the figures as dark-haired, upright, and unusually tall.
“They described it as a human-looking animal that was too tall to be a person and too fast to be human,” the report states.

The group also reported hearing additional knocking sounds and later claimed to have discovered large footprints, handprints on vehicles, broken trees, and structures made from branches near their campsite.
Photos of some of the alleged evidence, including a footprint and markings on vehicle windows, were included with the report submitted to BFRO.
Investigator Says Witnesses Appear Credible
BFRO investigator Matthew Moneymaker said he spoke directly with two members of the group.
“They are telling the truth. The only question is whether it was a misinterpretation,” Moneymaker wrote in his follow-up report.
Four members of the group reported visual sightings, while several others reported hearing unusual sounds.
Moneymaker noted that the campers were in a remote section of the forest and told him they were miles from other campers.
“Given the history of the general area and the number of visual observations (four eyewitnesses) in this case, it is pretty obvious some sasquatches were there, at least three of them,” he wrote.
No physical evidence confirming the existence of Sasquatch has been presented, and reports of Bigfoot sightings remain unverified.
Still, the account has generated interest among Bigfoot enthusiasts because of the number of witnesses involved and the consistency of some of their descriptions.
