A homicide investigation is underway after a man was shot to death inside a Tacoma hospital.

The shooting occurred in the emergency room waiting room at MultiCare Allenmore Hospital on Union Avenue just after 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, according to Tacoma Police.
