Bank Robbery Suspect Flees On Bicycle After Vancouver Heist, Deputies Say

Deputies are searching for a man who implied he had a gun and robbed a Vancouver bank before fleeing the scene on a bicycle, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

The robbery happened around 11:35 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at the U.S. Bank branch at 6704 NE 117th Avenue, the sheriff’s office said.

Investigators said the suspect entered the bank, indicated he had a weapon, and demanded money. No injuries were reported.

After taking cash, the suspect left the bank and rode away on a bicycle, deputies said.

Investigation Ongoing

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance photos of the suspect and is asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
